As one of the most in-demand session players in Nashville, Bryan Sutton keeps himself busy. He has been a member of Hot Rize since 2002. He is also one of their biggest fans since he first saw them as a child. Bryan first came to prominence in 1997 as lead guitarist for Ricky Skaggs band Kentucky Thunder.
Bryan has toured with Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Chris Thile, Tony Rice and many others.
To date, Bryan has won the IBMA Guitar Player of the Year award 10 times. He won a Grammy award for Best Country Instrumental Performance with Doc Watson for Whiskey Before Breakfast.
