We were real fortunate to run into Hawktail at The IBMA 2018.
Hawktail is such an amazing band. They started as a trio called Haas, Kowert & Tice. They added Dominic Leslie and became Hawktail. The members may seem familiar to you because of some of the bands they were in prior: The Punch Brothers, David Rawlings, Crooked Still, The Deadly Gentlemen and A Prairie Home Companion just to name a few.
This band has the chops and so much more.
We sat down for a discussion with Britney Haas and Jordan Tice. Then you will see a few minutes of Dominic Leslie and Paul Kowert just doing a little jamming in the hallways of The IBMA.
