PODUNK BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL continues to improve every year. Podunk was the IBMA Bluegrass Festival of the Year in 2010.

They have the best sound that anyone has ever heard. Rosewood Sound is a major reason to appr

eciate this festival. Telefunken supplies the industries best microphones and sponsors Thursday night Band competition.

Top acts this year included the Tim O'Brien Band, Balsam Range, Flatt Lonesome, Kristy Cox & Calder Highway with Jerry Salley and Dale Ann Bradley to name a few. There are free workshops, traditional crafts, jam sessions, open mic night, a second stage featuring up and coming bands. There is a tremendous amount of jamming by the fans all night long. There is a children's Music Academy as well as children's activity area.

There are RV hookups and paved roads. This is at the Hebron Fairgrounds so there is flush toilets and indoor buildings for the Workshops. The staff really goes out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. There is a variety of vendors to keep everyone happy. A festival that you will want to return to each year.
